SAICSIT 2022 is the annual research conference of the South African national computing society with the same name by the institute of the same name. It presents researchers with a forum for presenting research in computer science, information systems, information technology, software engineering and computer engineering (as defined in the ACM, AIS and IEEE-CS). SAICSIT 2022 is an international conference and contributions from all parts of the world are warmly welcomed.

SAICSIT has supported local education, research and development in computing and information technology (IT) for over forty years. Its annual conference typically attracts academics and practitioners from Southern Africa, along with a number of prominent international scholars. SAICSIT is also coupled with an AISSAC seminar on the first day.
